Job Summary
Lead all warehouse and logistical activities at Blue Origin's Launch Complex in Cape Canaveral, FL, directing a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence. Responsible for inventory control, KPI development and monitoring, and process improvement using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Manage MRP/ERP planning, BOM structures, procurement interfaces, and the disposition of stale inventory while ensuring safety, compliance, and alignment with cost and production goals. Develop and mentor staff, drive performance management, and collaborate cross-functionally to support aerospace manufacturing and spaceflight readiness. Requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- B.A., B.S. degree or APICS certification or 5+ years of Blue Origin experience
- Experience as a people manager with performance management, career development, and employee training
- Experience in Inventory Management and Program Management
- Lean / Six Sigma proficiency with data-driven process improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence at senior levels
- Thorough knowledge of planning, MRP/ERP planning, BOM structures, material estimating
- Experience establishing and maintaining KPIs; data-driven decision making
- Ability to derive inventory requirements from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and handle hazardous materials awareness
