Sr. Manager Supplier Engineering

Senior-level leadership role overseeing a team of Supplier Engineers to develop and manage a global supplier base for robotic surgical systems. Responsible for evaluating and qualifying manufacturing processes with suppliers, driving cost reduction, ensuring quality, capacity, and delivery performance (KPIs such as capacity, on-time delivery, cost, quality, and service levels), and collaborating across supplier quality, product management, and global operations. Role requires building and maintaining supplier relationships, driving process improvements (DFX, Lean, Six Sigma, CAPA/SCAR), and enabling scalable production for components, parts, and sub-assemblies across plastics, metals, electronics, and precision machining. Travel to supplier sites (approximately 25%) and lead cross-functional initiatives including supplier change management and risk mitigation. Educational requirement: BS in engineering; advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and lead senior technical staff, with strong communication skills for executive-level presentations.
