Sr Manager, Software Engineering

Senior Engineering Manager of RFM responsible for end-to-end delivery of restaurant technology platforms supporting Ordering, Food Preparation, and Platform domains. Leads hybrid squads across US, Mexico, and Brazil, delivering scalable systems using Java, Angular, and event-driven architecture. Owns end-to-end delivery of distributed systems and product initiatives, leads backend services and APIs, partners with Product Managers to manage backlog, balances feature delivery with technical debt, coordinates cross-squad dependencies and global teams, leads incident response and production issue resolution, guides development of microservices and event-driven systems, ensures adherence to engineering standards, drives system reliability and performance, collaborates with leads and architects for technical alignment, owns delivery metrics and quality, drives test automation and CI/CD practices, monitors defects and incidents, supports modernization efforts, and fosters a high-performing, inclusive team culture. Manages 8–12 engineers including performance, coaching, and career growth, and hires/develops engineering talent.
