Job Summary
Lead the build-out of TradeStation's next-generation API platform across REST, GraphQL, gRPC and MCP; own the technical strategy and roadmap for the API platform, partnering with Product Management on strategy and prioritization. Drive API-first design, developer experience, and discoverability across surfaces; champion gRPC adoption for internal services; define governance standards (versioning, deprecation, authentication, rate limits, SLA management); manage cloud-native infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes; mentor Technical Leads and software teams; collaborate with stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical execution that drives trade revenue and platform adoption; ensure knowledge sharing and agile practices, and maintain a DX-focused developer portal, SDKs, and documentation. Requires a BS in Computer Science or related discipline and 7+ years of leadership experience. This is a remote-position role with eligibility to reside in a defined set of US states.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant team management and leadership experience in high-performance, business-critical environments
