Job Summary
Lead research evaluation and data analysis efforts across all Motion Picture & Television Development incentive programs, including Film, Independent, Post, Music, and Theatrical. Conduct independent research on complex topics, synthesize information from multiple sources, and translate findings into executive memos, briefing materials, and high-level technical reports. Develop and implement data analytics strategies, manage database maintenance, and oversee data extraction to ensure accuracy and integrity for AVP, VP, and SVP decision-making. Track industry trends, state incentive structures, and production status data to support strategic planning and policy analysis. Identify workflow improvements and facilitate data completion for regular meetings and stakeholder engagement. Maintain extensive directories for vendors and facilities while contributing to long-term policy visions and crisis management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in research, analysis, program evaluation, public affairs, business operations or relevant field
- Minimum 5+ years in leading research and analytical initiatives
- Experience managing complex datasets
- Ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in MS Access
- Advanced proficiency in MS Dynamics
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in data warehousing tools
- Strong analytical skills
