Job Summary
Manage supplier and copacker qualification, onboarding, suspension, and reviews while leading audits and compliance to ensure corporate quality standards are met. Drive corrective action management across the supply chain, maintain records of certifications and quality agreements, and track NC/NCR progress for closure. Lead supplier development programs to improve quality, education, and efficiency, while supporting release decisions for external copacker hold management. Report supplier quality performance to senior leadership and collaborate with procurement, operations, and consumer affairs teams to mitigate risks and support continuous improvement initiatives. Own the supplier scorecards, GFSI compliance, and cost of quality metrics to align with business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Packaging, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in QA, Packaging, Warehousing in food/ beverage industry
- 3+ years of experience in CPG food safety auditing
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, packaging standards, & warehousing best practices
- PCQI for Human Food, Internal Auditor, & Foreign Supplier Verification Program qualifications
- Highly organized
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to be proactive & address risks quickly & effectively
