Job Summary
Senior Manager of QA Engineering oversees end-to-end quality across Xumo Play’s multi-platform client apps, backend services, and platform integrations. Leads and scales globally distributed QA and automation teams, defines scalable testing approaches to manage platform fragmentation, establishes quality gates and readiness criteria, and drives KPI tracking and continuous improvement. Owns QA oversight for client/server/API testing, automation strategy, and KPI-driven performance/ reliability initiatives, while partnering with Engineering, Product, and Platform teams to ensure release confidence and optimal user experience across devices and ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 7-10 years of QA/QA automation experience
- Experience leading QA automation teams
- Agile methodology experience
- Knowledge of testing strategies across client apps, APIs, and backend services
- Experience with CI/CD integration
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Experience with JavaScript and React Native or related tech stacks
- Experience with testing across multiple platforms (TVs, mobile, web) and devices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
