Job Summary
Develop and audit complex financial models for power, desalination, and renewable development projects, ensuring alignment with international accounting and taxation practices. Conduct due diligence, risk analysis, and mitigation strategies for debt, equity, and financing structures while supporting project finance and M&A transactions. Engage in internal approvals processes, manage legal documentation for financial close, and collaborate with Development, EPC, and Interconnection teams. Provide strategic financial and market analysis, optimize tax structures, and negotiate financing relationships with banks and third-party investors. Maintain knowledge of executed projects and emerging industry best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree with a focus in finance, economics, or another quantitative field
- At least 7 + years of work experience supporting the energy, water and renewable industry in a financial modeling and transactional role
- Previous experience working for a leading IPP, utility, renewable developer, or investment bank preferably in MENA region
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
