Job Summary
Senior Manager/Manager of Program Finance responsible for the financial ownership of a defined portfolio of space security programs, owning the EAC process, driving cost and schedule performance, and ensuring financial rigor from inception through closeout. Lead and develop a team of program finance analysts, partner cross-functionally with PMO, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Operations, manage risk and opportunities, support forecasts for executives and the Board, and ensure readiness for customer/government audits (DCMA, GAO). Requires in-person work four days per week at the Denver, CO headquarters or the Long Beach, CA facility; 6-12 years aerospace/defense finance experience; GAAP/ASC 606, FAR/DFARS, EVMS, and strong communication skills. Security clearance: current Secret; TS/SCI preferred; U.S. citizenship or eligible to obtain ITAR authorizations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 6-12 years of finance experience in aerospace or defense with demonstrated ownership of complex programs and people leadership experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP (ASC 606 revenue recognition), FAR/DFARS, and cost accounting fundamentals
- Hands-on experience with EAC methodology and EVMS on government programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Power Query and Power Pivot
- Ability to communicate clearly across program teams, functional leadership, and external customers
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts (preferred for Senior Manager)
