Job Summary
Global Sr. Manager, Product Master Operations leads cross-regional product master data governance and end-to-end data operations across enterprise platforms, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant data to support manufacturing, planning, distribution, and business continuity in a highly regulated MedTech environment. Responsibilities include overseeing product master data across lifecycle stages (NPI, changes, transfers, inactivations, discontinuations), establishing scalable data governance standards, partnering with Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, IT, Planning, and Commercial teams, coaching a global team, defining operational metrics, driving standardization and automation opportunities, and applying AI-enabled analytics to enhance data quality monitoring and decision support while ensuring compliance and audit readiness. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of experience in related fields, leadership in a global matrixed environment, ERP knowledge (SAP S/4HANA) and familiarity with regulatory requirements (GxP, CSV, SOX). Travel up to 10–20%; preferred Lean Six Sigma or data management certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, master data management, or enterprise systems within a global organization
- Experience in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment
- Strong knowledge of product master data and its impact across planning, manufacturing, quality, distribution, and lifecycle management
- Experience operating within highly regulated environments (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences)
- Proven ability to drive process standardization and operational excellence across regions
- Leadership experience managing teams in a matrixed, global environment
- Working knowledge of CSV, GxP, SOX, and audit-support requirements
- English language proficiency
- Willingness to travel up to 10–20% (domestic and international)
