Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Product Master Operations is a global leadership role within SC&O Systems responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and compliant product master data across regions and enterprise platforms. Leads product master data operations across lifecycle stages (NPI, changes, transfers, inactivations, discontinuations), establishes scalable data governance and controls to ensure data integrity, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance in a highly regulated MedTech environment, and partners with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Manufacturing, IT, Planning, Commercial). Drives operational excellence through standardization, performance metrics, and continuous improvement; coaches a global team in data stewardship, process mapping, problem-solving, and change leadership; defines dashboards and KPIs for leadership visibility; identifies automation opportunities and applies AI-enabled analytics to enhance data quality monitoring and decision support. Requires strong experience in master data concepts, ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA), regulatory requirements (CSV, GxP, SOX), and a proven track record of scaling data processes in a global medical device environment. Travel up to 10–20% and English language proficiency; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. The role is positioned within DePuy Synthes and Johnson & Johnson, with potential alignment across multiple countries and requisitions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred: Master’s degree or MBA
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations, master data management, or enterprise systems
- Experience leading global teams in a matrixed environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and CRM/PLM tools (Salesforce, Windchill)
- Experience in regulated environments (medical devices, life sciences)
- Strong data governance, quality, and compliance knowledge
- Ability to drive standardization, process improvements, and data-driven governance
- Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills
- Travel up to 10–20%
- Languages: English required; additional languages preferred
