Job Summary
Senior Manager, Physical Security for Micron’s New York site leading all site security operations, including guard force, access control, and surveillance; develops and implements site-level security strategy aligned to global standards; manages risk assessments, regulatory compliance (ISO/IEC 27001), incident management, and crisis planning; oversees protection of facilities and high-value assets, negotiates and manages security vendors and budgets; partners with Facilities, EHS, HR, Legal, IT, and leadership to report on security posture; requires bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years in security and 5+ years of leadership; preferred experience in 24/7 operations or semiconductor/manufacturing environments and professional security certifications (CPP, PSP, CISSP).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Security, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in physical or corporate security
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and vendors
- Experience managing security operations in corporate, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure environments
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and physical security systems
