Sr. Manager, Philanthropy

Senior Manager, Philanthropy leads a regional major gifts program for the Alberta Cancer Foundation, focusing on securing gifts of $50K+ and building a sustainable culture of philanthropy. Responsibilities include developing and executing regional fundraising strategies, managing a personal portfolio of major and transformational gift prospects, leading and coaching a regional team, collaborating with physicians, researchers, site leadership and internal stakeholders, ensuring donor experience aligns with organizational priorities, and contributing to CRM best practices and donor engagement efforts. Preferred experience includes fundraising leadership, capital and comprehensive campaigns, and familiarity with Salesforce and donor data management. CFRE is listed as an asset, with a post-secondary degree and 5–7 years of fundraising experience expected.
