Sr. Manager, People Business Partner

Job Summary
Serve as the primary strategic People Business Partner for the E&E Vancouver Studio, coaching leaders on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning. Lead performance management, compensation reviews, and succession planning while owning standard HR processes like onboarding and offboarding. Manage complex employee relations matters, including terminations and change management, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. Partner with People COEs to deliver cohesive people programs and drive E&E-wide initiatives using data and employee feedback. Provide hands-on mentorship to leaders and employees, acting as an ad hoc in-office point of contact for non-E&E staff. This role requires a strong in-office presence (Tues-Thurs) and 7+ years of HR experience in tech or high-growth environments.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive HR / People Business Partner experience
- Proven track record as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders in complex, fast-moving environments
- Highly skilled in influencing without authority and communicating clearly with executives, managers, and employees
- Deep experience across core People domains, including performance management, talent development, compensation, employee relations, and compliance
- Experience using tools such as Workday, Jira, Monday.com, and CultureAmp
- Ability to think ahead strategically while still rolling up your sleeves to get things done
- Curiosity, adaptability, and resilience in fast-paced, evolving environments
- People-first mindset paired with strong business acumen
- Commitment to building inclusive, high-performing teams where everyone can thrive
- Strong in-office presence (Tues-Thurs)
