Job Summary

Lead large-scale industrial projects and serve as the primary liaison between product development and operations to ensure smooth, cost-effective transition of new products into serial production. Drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing standards, mentor Project Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers, and identify capital investments and factory automation solutions to improve safety, quality, capacity, and cost. Develop and implement best-in-class processes and standards for world-class manufacturing, while promoting Lean and efficient operating practices to sustain growth and improve gross margin. Requires a BS degree in engineering, 2+ years of hands-on management, and 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, with strong leadership, collaboration across levels, and the ability to plan 3–5 year capital/technology initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • BS degree in an engineering discipline
  • 2+ years of hands-on management experience leading a team of engineers
  • 7+ years of experience supporting manufacturing engineering processes
  • Lead new product industrialization and serve as the connector between product development and operations
  • Develop and lead a high-performing engineering team and provide mentorship and career development
  • Advance Lean manufacturing standards and ensure BoM and routing accuracy
  • Partner with operations leadership on 3–5 year capital and technology plans
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence and gain buy-in for product/process changes and resource investments

Desired Qualifications

  • PMI Project Manager Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience leading large-scale industrial projects
  • Lean manufacturing/process improvement experience
  • Strong mentoring and leadership of engineers
  • Capital investments and factory-automation implementation
  • Knowledge of BoM and routing accuracy
  • Experience in power electronics or high-volume precision machining (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
