Job Summary
Provide overall direction, coaching, and leadership for a team of entry- to mid-level software engineers; influence budget and technical decisions; ensure collaboration across teams and stakeholders; mentor on processes, foster inclusion, and drive operational efficiencies for financial technology initiatives. Lead recruitment, talent development, and recognition; bring cloud-native expertise and cross-functional visibility to advance the firm’s IT infrastructure in Corporate Finance Technology in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading teams of technologists
- Ability to guide and coach teams on approach to achieve goals aligned against a set of strategic initiatives
- Experience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
- In-depth knowledge of the services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines
