Job Summary
Senior Manager of Security Engineering directs a team of entry-level to mid-level security engineers on basic to moderately complex tasks, coaches and mentors staff, and collaborates with stakeholders to influence resource allocation, budget, and technical approaches. The role focuses on improving operational efficiencies and functionality through enterprise-level solutions, internal tooling, workflow automation, and robust IAM practices, while fostering diversity and inclusion within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on security concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering or software development
- experience building internal tools or workflow automation
- Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level solutions
- Experience building internal tools, workflow automation, or pipeline management systems
- Expertise in IAM technologies: OAuth2.0, SAML, ABAC, RBAC, PBAC, OPA
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Python, or Node.js
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security, Service Ownership
- Extensive experience with threat modeling, vulnerability, and penetration testing
