Job Summary

Sr. Category Marketing Manager leads global category strategy and regional roadmaps for Savory & B&B within USCAN, driving growth, informing sales with actionable insights, and translating global strategy into regional plans. Responsibilities include shaping global category strategy, developing regional roadmaps, ensuring thorough business reporting and profitability analysis, engaging key customers, gathering market intelligence, conducting brand and category appraisals, leading regional growth initiatives, pipeline development, demand generation, and sales enablement, and championing product launches through collaboration with global teams. The role requires partnering with Sales, Innovation/R&D, and marketing teams to develop campaigns and tools, training teams on category trends, and contributing to cross-functional strategy and go-to-market activities. Qualifications include 8–12+ years in strategic marketing leadership in B2B food ingredients or related fields, ownership of category portfolios, and experience in global/regional matrix environments. Relocation is not offered; the position reports into Ingredion’s global marketing framework with a strong emphasis on growth, innovation, and customer-focused execution.

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12+ years’ experience in category, segment or strategic marketing leadership roles preferably in B2B food ingredients or adjacent solution‐driven categories
  • Demonstrated ownership of categories, segments, or portfolios with clear commercial accountability
  • Experience supporting new category development, innovation pipelines, and growth initiatives rather than only mature portfolios
  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Innovation/R&D, and technical teams
  • Strong ability to operate in regional and global matrixed organizations
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and problem-solving in cross-functional settings
  • Proven track record in driving pipeline, growth, and cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives across regions
