Job Summary
Lead the strategic and operational direction of FNBO's Marketing Engineering function, defining the vision for data infrastructure, automation, and criteria frameworks that power consumer marketing at scale. Own the end-to-end relationship with the acquisition data platform vendor, managing contract performance and leading transitions to ensure optimal data sourcing for prospecting efforts. Serve as the primary voice for marketing needs within enterprise data architecture, championing Snowflake as the foundational layer and translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions for audience construction and activation on the Zeta Marketing Platform. Drive process improvements across pricing, criteria, and automated strategies to enhance execution speed and accuracy while maintaining strict data governance and compliance standards. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who bridges the gap between marketing strategy and data engineering, utilizing SQL familiarity to evaluate outputs and leveraging AI capabilities within Snowflake and ZMP to drive personalized experiences. You will mentor a cross-functional team of marketing engineers, fostering a culture of proactive problem-solving and strategic curiosity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in marketing technology, data strategy, marketing operations, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of people management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Demonstrated experience working with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms in a marketing context
- Experience owning or managing external vendor relationships, including contract and performance accountability
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance considerations in a regulated industry
- Unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship

- This role has an onsite requirement of at least 3 days per week
- It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week
- Work location is subject to change based on business needs
- Occasional travel may be required for vendor meetings or industry events
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Zeta Marketing Platform (ZMP) or comparable enterprise marketing platforms, including audience building and activation
- Background in credit cards or financial services
- Experience leading a vendor evaluation, RFP process, or platform transition
- Familiarity with SQL or other data querying languages
- Experience with acquisition data platforms, data cooperatives, or third-party data providers
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
