Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Manufacturing leads daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets in a regulated environment. Partners with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and R&D to optimize production flow, drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and support new product introductions and process transfers. Responsible for workforce leadership and development, ensuring compliance with GMP/ISO, safety, and regulatory requirements. Tracks KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap, downtime, and labor efficiency, and uses data-driven decision making to improve performance. Key skills include leadership, communication, problem-solving, ERP (SAP), Lean/Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and experience with automation or Industry 4.0 technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
- 8–10+ years of manufacturing experience
- 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) - preferred
- APICS CPIM certification - preferred
- PMP Project Management certification - preferred
- Experience with automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 technologies - preferred
