Job Summary
Manage a regional LQA organization comprising people managers, individual contributors, and vendor resources, leading direct reports to ensure development, retention, and consistent performance. Contribute to departmental strategic planning by forecasting budgets, staffing needs, and tooling investments while setting team-level goals aligned with departmental OKRs. Oversee core workflows including test planning, triage, and cross-regional bug handling to drive continuous quality improvement across languages. Serve as the key escalation point for sensitive issues such as voice quality, localization bugs, and systemic vendor problems, resolving them efficiently without disrupting global release velocity. Partner with senior Global Loc leadership, production, QA, content, and engineering stakeholders to scale automation and ensure test coverage aligns with risk and release velocity.
Required Qualifications
- Localization QA or functional QA experience, including managing managers, teams and individual contributors
- Proven ability to lead multi-language QA operations, especially in a regional or multi-site model
- Deep familiarity with linguistic QA, LQA tools, test case development, and vendor operations
- Experience planning and managing budgets, resource allocations, and milestone staffing
- Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives, representing LQA to senior stakeholders in production and content
- Proficiency with QA and localization platforms (e.g., JIRA, Xray, TestRail, CMS, CAT tools, TMS)
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor's degree in game production, localization, linguistics, or equivalent experience
