Job Summary
Oversee and manage logistics operations for a designated area within The Home Depot’s logistics function. Provide technical logistics expertise and store/retail acumen, plan resources to meet competing priorities, design project timelines, and select, develop, and motivate staff. May have limited authority to negotiate transportation costs for inbound/outbound freight. Travel up to 10% and operate from the Store Support Center in Atlanta, GA, with a focus on reducing costs and improving service to stores. Lead cross-functional initiatives, drive process improvements, and mentor team members to ensure efficient, compliant logistics operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
- Minimum Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
- Minimum Years of Work Experience: 6
- Experience in the Logistics field preferred
- Management experience preferred
- Nine to twelve years of experience is preferred
