Job Summary
Lead Enterprise and Solution Architecture functions by defining standards, governing practices, and strategic technology direction to align investments with business objectives. Coach and develop a high-performing team of architects while managing capacity, resource planning, and prioritization to drive organizational effectiveness. Partner with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to translate strategic goals into technology roadmaps, oversee complex delivery initiatives, and facilitate architectural decision-making. Establish performance metrics, champion reusable patterns, and act as an escalation point for significant risks to advance architecture maturity across the enterprise. Report to the Austin, TX or Somerset, NJ office on a hybrid basis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, or related technology leadership roles
- 5+ years of experience leading technical teams or architecture organizations
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, solution architecture, governance, and technology strategy
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Ability to travel 20%
Desired Qualifications
- TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or other relevant architecture or cloud certifications
- Experience leading both Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture teams
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation and modernization initiatives
- Experience working with architecture frameworks and repositories such as TOGAF, LeanIX, and ArchiMate
