Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end management of Hippo's insurance forms library (HO-1 through HO-8 and related P&C forms) and customer communications, serving as the primary compliance partner within the Product team. Own drafting, revision, regulatory filing (SERFF), versioning, implementation, and retirement of forms; ensure accurate, state-appropriate form language and competitive positioning. Monitor ISO and state regulatory developments, translate requirements into actionable guidance for Product and Legal, and support growth with form updates aligned to risk appetite. Partner with Legal, Compliance, Product, Marketing, Operations, and QA to establish governance, scalable processes, and documentation standards for forms management. Build and lead the function within Product, hiring and developing a Analyst with a clear growth path; influence product growth, profitability, and customer experience through robust form management and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in insurance forms management, product compliance, regulatory filings, or P&C product development
- Strong working knowledge of P&C regulatory requirements, state filing processes, and customer disclosure obligations
- Hands-on SERFF experience and familiarity with standard homeowners policy forms (ISO HO program) and endorsement structures
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational, documentation, and version-control skills
- Excellent communication skills; able to translate complex regulatory language into clear business guidance
