Job Summary
Sr. Manager, HCC Spain/Italy responsible for Healthcare Compliance for Spain and Italy, overseeing end-to-end compliance leadership for DePuy Synthes’ Orthopedics business. Lead compliance strategy, risk assessments, training, monitoring, and issue management; partner with country leadership, Legal, and cross-functional stakeholders; support investigations, audits, and regulatory interactions; monitor regulatory developments in Spain and Italy; fluent in English with Spanish/Italian strongly preferred; travel up to 20–30% within Spain/Italy.
Required Qualifications
- Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred: Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics-related).
- Experience and Skills Required: 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable in Spain and Italy (e.g., MedTech Europe, national codes).
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing teams or leading complex, country-level compliance programs.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and effective decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority.
