Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Healthcare Compliance (HCC) Southeast Asia supports DePuy Synthes' Orthopedics business as the Healthcare Compliance Officer for Malaysia, Thailand, and possibly other Southeast Asia markets. Leads end-to-end healthcare compliance governance, risk assessment, training, monitoring, and issue management across multiple markets, collaborating with country leadership, Legal, and regional/global Compliance teams to ensure adherence to healthcare laws and company policies, while embedding compliant business processes into go-to-market models and driving a culture of integrity and accountability across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or related fields
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable in Southeast Asia (e.g., local regulations, APAC codes)
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing complex, multi-country compliance programs
- Proven ability to partner effectively with senior business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Thai
- Willingness to travel up to 20–30% within Southeast Asia
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics-related disciplines
- 8–10 years of progressive healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable in Southeast Asia
- Leadership experience managing multi-country compliance programs
- Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences industry (preferred)
- Fluency in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Thai (preferred)
- Travel up to 20–30% within Southeast Asia markets
