Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Global Demand Planning acts as Vantive’s enterprise expert and business owner for global demand management policies, processes, standards, and tools. Defines and maintains policies, drives global governance, ensures data integrity and analytical rigor, and aligns demand planning with supply planning to optimize inventory, service levels, and business results. Coaches forecasters and planners, develops training materials and playbooks, promotes planning discipline, and leads centralized statistical forecasting, AOP/LRP support, scenario modeling, and risk/opportunity assessments. Serves as SME for planning systems, partners with IT to deploy enhancements and introduce automation/AI forecasting, and oversees demand-centric master data processes. Requires BA/BS in related field; MBA/MS preferred; 5+ years in demand/supply planning with SIOP experience; certifications are desirable. The role emphasizes leadership in global governance, cross-functional collaboration, and analytics maturity, with an estimated base salary of $136,000-$180,000 per year and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in business, supply chain, engineering, analytics, or related field required
- 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or related roles
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience leading demand planning process improvements
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Hands-on expertise with advanced planning platforms (e.g., Kinaxis RapidResponse/ Maestro or equivalent)
- Proficiency with MS Office, ERP systems (e.g., JDE), and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- MBA or MS preferred but not required

- Professional certifications such as IBF CPF, APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP
- Experience leading demand planning process improvements in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
