Job Summary
Monitor monthly close activities and unusual entries, then integrate financial and operational metrics from multiple reporting systems to analyze results across 100+ locations. Assist with modeling operating expense, capital, and inventory projections for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, while incorporating macro-economic drivers into forecast assumptions. Build and support financial models and reporting tools used by finance and operational leaders to drive strategic initiatives. Provide financial review slides for quarterly board meetings and SEC filings, presenting insights to executive leadership on profitability pro formas and restructuring opportunities. Manage various national-level financial projects and develop direct reports within a $6B packaging distribution business.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience
- 5-10 years of related job experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Experience of providing leadership to others regarding work related systems, processes, and challenges
- Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives
- Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales within the overall policy framework
- Strong planning and organization skills
