Sr Manager, Financial & Regulatory Reporting

Job Summary
Oversight and authorization of funds filings including SEC Forms N-CSR, N-1A support, 24f-2, and 17f-2. Support regulatory filings such as SEC Form N-MFP, N-PORT, and N-CEN while automating reviews of shareholder reports and holdings. Provide strategic oversight of third-party fund administrators, assessing and communicating performance to management. Coordinate schedules with internal and external partners for filings and lead process improvements. Partner with SAM functional areas to provide expertise on regulatory and financial reporting standards. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and implement them with organization partners. Communicate and present financial and regulatory standards to senior management in SAM, including the CFO and CEO. Work on-site in specified locations with a full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics highly preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of direct experience administering mutual funds, including financial reporting, fund accounting, and/or operational experience
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory filings and financial reporting requirements for mutual funds and ETFs, including oversight and authorization of fund filings such as SEC Forms N-CSR (including iXBRL), N-1A support, 24f-2, and 17f‐2, as well as experience supporting additional filings such as SEC Forms N‐PORT and N‐MFP
- Strong organizer, detail-oriented, and ability to maintain deadlines
- Demonstrated drive to improve and promote quality, accuracy, and appropriate levels of due diligence
- We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified locations
Desired Qualifications
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Financial reporting experience with interval funds, investments in private markets, private 3c-7 liquidity funds, tokenized funds, and crypto ETPs
- Drive and skillset to identify areas of opportunity and implement effective change and automation
- Proactively support business partners and overall company goals through collaboration and effective networking
- Proven verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with all levels in the SAM Fund Administration teams and with other external/internal partners
