Sr. Manager, Facilities Engineering

Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of facilities engineers, overseeing daily operations and maintenance of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Ensure compliance with all safety and building codes and implement maintenance programs for equipment uptime. Manage capital improvement projects and negotiate vendor contracts while maintaining budgets and tracking performance metrics. Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within facility operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Engineering, or a related field
- 9+ years of experience in facilities engineering or management
- At least 3–5 years in a leadership role
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and solve complex problems
- Strategic thinker with a strong track record of operational execution
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device industry
- Proficiency in CMMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems
- Deep understanding of safety regulations and energy codes
