Job Summary
Conduct independent review and challenge of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management practices, including Business Impact Analysis outputs, recovery strategies, and testing results. Monitor program execution, risk indicators, and emerging resilience risks to escalate material concerns through established governance forums. Develop risk insights, thematic analysis, and management reporting that translate program outcomes into actionable perspectives for senior leadership and governance committees. Contribute to quarterly RSA reporting, regulatory examinations, and audit engagements while partnering with First Line and Third-Party Risk teams to deliver effective oversight within the Three Lines of Defense model.
Required Qualifications
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth / expert knowledge operational risk management practices
- In-depth / expert knowledge of the designated business / product portfolio
- In-depth / expert knowledge of regulatory requirements
- In-depth / expert knowledge of quantitative techniques and economic capital methodologies
- In-depth / expert knowledge & experience with risk policy frameworks; quality control / testing frameworks
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge
