Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering lead a multi-functional team to drive manufacturing excellence, support new product introductions, and enable operational success through Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement; oversee design, implementation, optimization, and transfer of manufacturing processes; ensure quality and regulatory compliance (FDA, ISO, cGMP); collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations to align manufacturing strategies with business objectives; manage project timelines, budgets, and resource plans; monitor KPIs and drive cross-functional partnership; strong leadership, communication, and data-driven decision-making; travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field
- Master’s degree experience in Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry
- Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and managing complex manufacturing or process improvement projects
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality systems, and regulated environments
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO, cGMP, and regulated manufacturing environments
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other project/process improvement certifications
- Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and manufacturing data analysis
Desired Qualifications
