Job Summary
Lead a Browser Technology Team to develop cutting-edge, safer and more productive web browsing experiences. Drive agile planning and daily standups, manage development timelines and milestones, deliver monthly progress reports, and collaborate with product managers and architects to deliver integrated browser-security solutions. Coach and mentor engineers, establish best practices, ensure resiliency and sustainability of software, and drive ownership of high-priority features and bug fixes.
Required Qualifications
- BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
- A minimum 10 + years of work experience with 4 +Years in managerial role
- Strong domain experience with Chrome and Chromium
- Experience managing a talented engineering team spanning all levels of experience
- A good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- A good understanding of distributed systems and networking technologies
- Strong Programming knowledge of Go, Python and/or C++
- Past experience managing international teams from different countries/cultures is preferred
- Previous experience in cybersecurity will be a bonus
- Flexibility in coordinating with global teams and encouraging round-the-clock efficiency
