Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Database Engineering & Architecture leads Arrow's global DBA organization strategy for on-premise and cloud databases, drives modernization of database architecture, oversees project implementations for deployment and data migration, mentors teams, partners with security and business stakeholders, and provides high-level guidance in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and related database technologies. The role requires 10+ years of related experience, strong leadership, vendor management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to oversee governance, standards, and budgets. The position is Hybrid with three days in the Denver, Panorama Arrow Building offices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience in Data Architect/Manager roles
- Proven experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Deep understanding of interconnects with Oracle Applications ERP
- Microsoft SQL Server expertise
- MySQL expertise
- Incident management and cyber threat experience
- Knowledge of technology platforms and interdependencies with hardware and software
- Strong leadership skills as a change agent with ability to develop multi-disciplined teams
- Ability to influence across IT groups and geographies with various ERP systems, vendors, and partners
- Project management oversight across multiple projects within discipline
