Job Summary
Manage credit and collections department activities by overseeing credit risk investigations for customers and suppliers, monitoring amounts due, and directing new customer credit line extensions. Supervise credit analysts and collections personnel while maintaining, supervising, and recommending policies and procedures to improve cash flow and reduce receivables. Lead a section or group of staff with strong negotiation and leadership skills to ensure effective credit management and collection strategies are implemented across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 10 years related experience
- At least 3 years experience as a manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software systems
- Strong analytical, numeracy and research skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Solid negotiation and leadership skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Ability to lead and direct others
