Job Summary
Lead and inspire Capital One Auto's creative teams to develop and execute strategy-driven assets across social media, experiential, and digital channels (email, web, display, video) for the consumer auto buying journey. Oversee talent (Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Copywriters) and manage internal partners and external agencies to deliver world-class, insight-driven creative. Guide initial strategy development, review new proposals, scope and resource work, and maintain brand consistency while driving performance. Build and maintain relationships across business, legal, governance, and other partner groups to anticipate obstacles and position Brand Creative as a strategic thought partner. Demonstrate industry expertise in advertising and marketing trends, translate business intent into creative strategies, and lead creative reviews and talent development for ongoing impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience leading creative teams
- 6+ years of experience as a Creative Director
- 6+ years of experience directly managing a creative team
- 2+ years experience at a large in-house creative team
- 2+ years experience working with a Fortune 100 brand
