Job Summary
Execute compensation program design, governance, and operational execution while providing strategic counsel to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives. Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues, manage regulatory requests and reporting, and lead change management programs for policy implementation and stakeholder communication. Develop business cases, benchmark programs against industry comparators, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements across applicable jurisdictions. Manage resources to deliver on financial goals, advise on resource requirements, and directly support the design and evaluation of multi-year compensation strategies aligned with BMO's overall business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in related field of study
- Expert knowledge of compensation theory and program design methodology
- Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge
- Verbal & written communication skills - In-depth / Expert
