Job Summary
Senior Manager, Communications EMEI leads integrated communications across Europe, the Middle East and other non-US regions, providing senior counsel to business leaders and shaping communications strategies that support priorities, protect reputation and strengthen stakeholder engagement. Role covers External Communications, Government Relations communications (with focus on Europe) and Employee Communications across the region; crisis readiness in Europe and the Middle East; leadership messaging and materials; and overseeing a regional team. Based in Rotterdam with the LYB Global Remote Work Policy allowing up to two days per week from home. Requires master’s-level credentials or equivalent experience, strong writing and presentation skills, and extensive experience in corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, and government relations; fluency in English with Dutch preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field – or the equivalent in experience
- Minimum of 10 years of communications experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing communications professionals
- Senior-level corporate communications experience supporting complex, high-profile business initiatives
- Experience in external communications, stakeholder engagement, employee communications, issues management and government relations communications
- Languages English required, Dutch preferred; additional languages a plus
