Job Summary
Senior Manager, Cloud Networking with leadership responsibilities for a high-performing team building and operating large-scale Kubernetes-based private cloud traffic platforms. Lead strategic recruitment, mentor engineers, and shape engineering strategy. Focus on cloud traffic infrastructure including GTM, PoP architecture, service mesh, API gateways, advanced network policy enforcement, and edge-to-cluster connectivity. Drive scalability, reliability, security, observability, AI-powered operational tooling, and self-service developer tooling across the platform. Emphasize modernization of cloud-native architectures, platform standardization, automation, and cross-functional collaboration with SRE, Security, and DX teams. Foster ownership, innovation, and a culture of operational excellence while guiding talent development and long-term roadmap investments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of engineering leadership or people management experience in large-scale infrastructure organizations
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes
- Experience leading engineering teams in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience automating observability, SRE practices, and AI-assisted workflows
- Security and reliability principles in cloud environments
