Job Summary
Senior Manager, Clinical Consultant leading clinical and procedural guidance for Owens & Minor's Custom Procedure Tray (CPT) program. Partners with Sales, Product Management, Portfolio Profitability, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Customer Success to optimize custom packs, evaluate component utilization, standardize configurations, and deliver clinically sound, operationally efficient, and financially sustainable pack designs. Acts as the clinical authority for component recommendations, conducts on-site assessments, and engages surgeons and perioperative leaders to drive optimization, adoption of proprietary products, and best-practice value messaging. Responsibilities span clinical pack reviews, cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing and Operations, and support for field sales with clinical expertise during strategic engagements, all while quantifying clinical, operational, and financial benefits and traveling up to 30%.
Required Qualifications
- Clinical credentials with perioperative experience (RN, BSN, Surgical Technologist, PA, or equivalent clinical background).
- Minimum 5 years of operating room, procedural, or perioperative clinical experience.
- Experience with custom procedure trays, surgical products, OR supply chain, or healthcare distribution preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical workflows, clinical product utilization, and value analysis processes.
- Demonstrated ability to influence clinicians, supply chain leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate clinical observations into actionable operational and commercial recommendations.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
