Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Business Development leads end-to-end execution of strategic partnerships and new business opportunities, encompassing deal structuring, due diligence, and cross-functional implementation. Owns development and management of partnership plans, regular reviews with executives, and performance reporting on KPIs. Conducts market and competitive analyses, builds financial models and business cases to support investment decisions, and guides cross-functional teams (legal, finance, product, marketing, operations) to remove execution barriers. Serves as primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners, driving alignment with organizational objectives and expanding partnership value. Mentors junior team members and communicates program changes to stakeholders while managing travel requirements (35-40%). This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the contiguous United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
- MBA or advanced degree a plus
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, or related field
- Demonstrated track record of leading complex partnership negotiations and multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Experience in media, telecommunications, or technology industry preferred
- Strong financial acumen with experience building financial models and ROI analyses
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to influence senior executives and external partners
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
