Sr. Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on site-wide manufacturing equipment, including bioreactors, mixers, and chromatography skids, while completing all work orders and time entries in the CMMS system. Perform daily checks, scheduled PM activities, and root cause troubleshooting for system failures, providing SME support for deviation investigations. Train and mentor maintenance technicians and manufacturing operators on routine tasks and safety compliance. Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities, including major repairs and shutdowns. Identify improvements to maintenance practices and equipment reliability. Work overtime as required and be available for weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or food industries
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and control systems
- Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Overtime as required
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification
- Preference for biotech, pharmaceutical, or food industry experience
