Sr. Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Perform routine preventative maintenance on processing, support, and utility equipment. Determine dimensional changes in parts, fabricate components, and adjust functional devices using blueprints, specifications, and service manuals. Repair broken parts with brazing, soldering, welding, and hand tools. Document actions, irregularities, and continuing needs through the EAM system. Work safely using required personal protective equipment in accordance with STW documentation. Participate in Continuous Improvement, 5S, and STW activities. Schedule includes nights 3/2/2 (5PM-5AM), rotating shifts, and job stations. Overtime and weekends are required based on business needs.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a plastics or fabrication environment
- Hydraulic/pneumatic troubleshooting
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Blueprint reading
- Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
- Ability to work on a rotating shift
- Ability to work rotating job stations
- Ability to effectively work in teams
- Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism
- Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
- Ability to use formulas, theories and measurements
- Ability to work on elevated platforms that are 60' high
- Ability to complete LOTO, rigging and forklift training
- Ability to complete and pass RJG fundamentals of systematic molding and RJG Machine Maintenance courses
- Vocational or Technical Degree
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer programs that may pertain to maintenance of the equipment or building
