SR Maintenance Technician -Airport Systems

Job Summary
The Senior Maintenance Technician will manage maintenance of the Baggage Handling System and related electrical/mechanical equipment, conducting troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs, including inspecting and repairing power circuits. Responsibilities include maintaining operational efficiency, overseeing emergency and scheduled maintenance, and ensuring accurate data input into the CMMS system. The role requires considerable technical skills in mechanical and electrical systems, effective communication abilities, and the capability to lead maintenance tasks in a high-paced airport environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver License
- 5+ years’ experience in equipment maintenance and maintenance operations
- Possess mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair for baggage machines
- Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Ability to communicate professionally to customers and fellow employees
- Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
- Ability to work 3rd shift including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Intermediate understanding of PLC Control systems
- Familiarity with Airport operations
