Job Summary

Senior Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Lead preventive/predictive maintenance, including vibration analysis and PM compliance; mentor junior technicians; participate in TPM activities, kaizen events, and continuous improvement projects. Lead root-cause analyses and document findings in CMMS; assist with SMED/changeovers and continuous improvement initiatives. Requires high school diploma or GED (Associate’s degree preferred), Journeyman electrical or millwright certification preferred, and 11–15 years of maintenance experience (7–10 with degree). Proficiency with legacy equipment, CMMS (Hippo/MaintainX), and diagnostic tools; ability to read schematics and PLC logic; able to lift 75 lbs and work 24/7 shifts. Location: Kansas City, MO on 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred
  • Journeyman electrical or millwright certification strongly preferred
  • 11-15 years maintenance experience (or 7-10 with degree) in high-speed manufacturing
  • Proficiency in CMMS (e.g., Hippo/MaintainX)
  • Proficiency reading schematics
  • PLC logic knowledge
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs, work in confined spaces, and support 2nd/3rd shift
