Job Summary
The Sr Maintenance Technician will perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of buildings and industrial systems. Responsibilities include inspecting building systems, overseeing contracted work, performing repairs, maintaining lighting systems, and maintaining energy management programs. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant experience, and additional certifications in various trades. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle physical tasks are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of four years of related experience and/or trade school training
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables
- Aptitude for technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting heavy loads of 50 lbs or more
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certification in electrical, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair
- 2 or more years of extensive practical experience in Building Services
