Job Summary
Senior Maintenance Mechanic responsible for general facility maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical maintenance, HVAC, and grounds; directs and supports technical staff, develops preventive maintenance programs, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Drives maintenance quality through inspections of water and life safety systems, responding to service requests and emergencies, maintaining logs, and training less experienced staff. Works at the UHealth Medical Campus in Miami, FL, with emphasis on keeping systems fully operational and compliant with standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to read, write and speak English
