Job Summary
Senior ML Engineer/Data Scientist for government and commercial clients; remote-first role in the Continental US. Responsible for designing and deploying ML-based anomaly detection, processing structured and unstructured data, developing NLP pipelines, time-series analysis, and model monitoring. Requires US citizenship or permanent residency; may require public trust background check or security clearance. Salary range $155,000-$200,000; remote-work eligible within Continental US; full-time, permanent role.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning and data science
- Expert proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong background in anomaly detection and time-series analysis
- Experience with NLP and text processing techniques
- Knowledge of feature engineering and model deployment best practices
- Experience with AWS ML services (SageMaker, Comprehend)
- Understanding of model governance and MLOps practices
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with anomaly detection techniques for fraud detection (preferred)
- Knowledge of unsupervised learning techniques (preferred)
- Experience with real-time model serving and inference (preferred)
- Experience using graph databases (preferred)
