Job Summary
Senior Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys on personal injury cases from pre-litigation through trial. Responsibilities include drafting litigation documents and filings, assisting with interrogatories and discovery, managing case deadlines and calendars, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, preparing exhibits and trial binders, reviewing medical records, and coordinating with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. The role also entails supporting trial readiness and ensuring timely pretrial filings and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Paralegal certificate, degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in litigation with strong background in personal injury
- Ability to draft litigation and discovery documents with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and legal case management software
- Experience reviewing and understanding medical records
- Ability to prepare a case for trial including all pretrial filings and deadlines
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling complex personal injury cases preferred
