Job Summary
Supervise a team of prelitigation paralegals and a front office receptionist while overseeing weekly demand goals, reviewing dashboards, and ensuring settlement processes strictly follow SOPs. Provide timely constructive feedback, coaching, and training; monitor performance, address issues promptly, and manage time and attendance for hours worked and PTO requests. Lead participation in supervisor and team meetings to review events, standard operating procedures, and address questions, while maintaining ongoing communication between attorneys and case management staff. Assist in planning programs to meet business objectives for timeliness, quality, customer service, and legal compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a personal injury paralegal
- Experience supervising paralegals
- College degree
- Professional written & verbal communication skills
- Effective leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills
- Ability to deal with conflict in a professional, objective, and respectful manner
- Ability to analyze facts/data, form fair conclusions, make sound recommendations, and exercise good judgment
- Organized and able to effectively manage multiple priorities
- Detail oriented
- Automation experience: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF, and legal software case management systems
